Biography
Career: Comes into this season 16th all-time at RIT with 242 ground balls … should vault into the top-10 by midseason.
2007: Continued his stellar play, earning All-Empire 8 second team honors for the second straight season … second on the team with 89 ground balls … tallied six goals and added three assists … had a career-best two goals and three points in the ECAC Upstate Championship over St. John Fisher … dished out two assists in 17-4 win over Elmira … scored a goal and was 5-of-9 on face-offs with a season-high nine ground balls in a 10-7 win over St. John Fisher named to the Empire 8 President’s List for maintaining a 3.75 grade-point average.
2006: Became one of the better long-stick midfielders in college lacrosse… earned second team All-Empire 8 honors… helped RIT’s defense hold their opponents to 7.01 goals per game… led the Tigers with 120 ground balls … tied for eighth all-time in season in ground balls … recorded a career-high 11 ground balls in the NCAA Quarterfinal against Wesleyan … grabbed 10 ground balls in a 14-4 win over SUNY Oswego … had at least four ground balls in all but one contest … chipped in with his first collegiate goal and assist … recorded the assist against Union and had the goal in the next game against SUNY Oswego.
2005: Started all 16 games at long-stick midfield as a freshman … grabbed 33 groundballs … had a season-high five ground balls against Hartwick … helped RIT’s defense hold their opponents to 9.4 goals per game.
Prior to RIT: Frederick County Defensive Player of the Year in 2004 ... team MVP as a junior and senior ... played in Maryland senior showcase game.
