- Played lacrosse and football at Victor Senior High School
- All-County honors in football and lacrosse at Victor
- Helped guide Victor to New York State Championship and a state runner-up finish

- Son of Jodi and Jeremy Wheeler
- Has three siblings Aiden, Colin and Madilyn
- Both parents graduate from RIT, mom, Jodi (1998), Dad, Jeremy (1999)
- Brother, Aiden, plays lacrosse at St. John Fisher
- Enjoys hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers and snowmobiles
- “Kick some ass, have some fun,” is the best advice he has received
- His dad has had the biggest influence on his athletic career because he is his biggest supporter and has helped him through adversity
- Started playing lacrosse in first grade
