MJ Kiekebelt begins his first season as an assistant coach on the RIT Men's Lacrosse coaching staff.

Kiekebelt moves to the coaching staff after a hughly succesful playing career, culminating in a trip the NCAA Div. III National Semifinals in 2011.

Kiekebelt, who was an All-Empire 8 first team selection three consecutive years, and was the 2011 Empire 8 Player of the Year in 2011, finished the season with team-highs in ground balls (131) and casued turnovers (57), while scoring eight goals and assisting on 12 others.

Kiekebelt was a USILA first team all american selection in 2011 and third team selection in 2010. He was the first firts team all-american selection at RIT since Dave Thering in 2006.

Kiekebelt finished his career sixth all-time at RIT with 338 career ground balls and casued 162 turnovers. He also scored 38 career points on 21 goals and 17 assists.
