• Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week -
Dec. 9
• Finished fifth on the team with 15 points, fourth with 13 assists, in 33 games played
• Also seventh with 23 blocked shots
• First collegiate points came on two assists in 4-2 win at Mercyhurst (Oct. 12)
• Season-high three blocked shots in 5-4 loss to Colgate (Oct. 25)
• Scored first collegiate goal along with an assist in 4-3 setback vs. Colgate (Oct. 26)
• Goal and an assist in 6-4 loss to Canisius (Dec. 3)
• Named AHA Rookie of the Week after notched an assist in both games vs. Robert Morris (Dec. 6-7)
• Assisted the opening goal in 3-2 win at Air Force (Feb. 1)
BEFORE RIT
• Played four seasons in the BCHL, including the previous two with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
• Finished the 2023-24 season as the league’s second-leading defenseman with 46 points (7G/39A) in 52 games during a run to the Interior Division final, landing second-team all-star honors and an invite to the BCHL All-Star game.
• Attended South Kamloops Secondary
PERSONAL
• Tristan Allen was born in Kamloops, British Columbia
• Parents are Corene and Trevor Allen
• Enjoys golfing in his spare time
• Credits his mom and dad for having the most influence on his playing career – “They have motivated me my whole life and I’m pretty lucky to call them my parents.”
• Favorite pro team is the Vancouver Canucks and lists their captain Quinn Hughes as his favorite player.
