Biography
BEFORE RIT:
- Served as cross country team captain in 2023 and 2024
- 2024 New York State Section III Class D individual winner
PERSONAL:
- Son of Lori and Charles Britschge
- Older brother, Joey, ran cross country and track & field at the Nazareth
- Hobbies include playing volleyball, soccer, and basketball
- When and why did you start running: "During the preseason of my freshman year, I was signed up for the soccer team. I went to half of a practice before I quit due to not liking the coach. My brother said I should join the cross country team, so I did. I didn’t love it at first, but the team and environment was so different from every other sport I played. I eventually started enjoying the atmosphere, the competitiveness, and the achievements that came with the sport and decided to stick with it."
