2017 (Cross Country): Competed in all seven races … enjoyed tremendous senior season … finished in the top-35 six times … recorded career-best time of 25:34.8, finishing 34th overall at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Region Cross Country Championship to earn All-Region honors … represented RIT at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship … was 14th at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Preview at Houghton … finished 19th overall at the Yellowjacket Invitational … just missed an All-Liberty League honor, placing 24th overall at the league championships.

2016 (Cross Country): Appeared in all six races for the Tigers … recorded an impressive 88th place finish in a career-best time of 26:10.2 over 8,000-meters at the Atlantic Region Championships … placed 35th at the Liberty League Championship … broke 27 minutes in a race four times … named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team for maintaining at least a 3.30 grade-point average.

2015: Competed in six meets … had two top-50 finishes … finished in 23rd place at the Canisius Alumni Classic … posted a personal-best 27:33.0 at the Mike Woods Invitational hosted by Geneseo.

Before RIT: Competed in cross country, indoor and outdoor track, badminton, volleyball, swimming and baseball (junior varsity) at Norwich High School ... named 2011 cross country team MVP, 2011 STAC All-Conference runner and 2012 NHS Scholar Athlete.

Personal: Applied mathematics major ... son of Michael and Grace Mooney ... has one brother, Nicholas.
