Biography

Career: Second all-time at the university with 72 walks, third with 106 RBIs, fifth with 478 at-bats, tied for fifth with 151 hits, and tied for eighth with 27 doubles … RIT's all-time leader defensively with 1,097 career putouts.

2015: Capped off a tremendous career in 2015, playing in and starting all 38 games at first base … named a 2015 D3Baseball.com and ABCA/Rawlings All-New York Region third team selection … All-Liberty League first team selection … RIT’s inaugural winner of the Jan Strine Award … named RIT Male Athlete of the Week, April 20 … finished second on the team with a .355 batting average, .486 slugging percentage, and .463 on-base percentage … hit his first three collegiate home runs to go along with 38 RBIs, fourth most in one season at the university … led the team with 49 hits and 41 runs scored to go along with 29 walks against just 15 strikeouts in 177 plate appearances … his 41 runs scored tied for second most in one year at RIT, while his 29 walks were one shy of a school mark and third among all Liberty League batters … third in the Liberty League in runs scored … stole six bases … hit .320 with two homers and 26 RBIs in 21 Liberty League contests … hit his first collegiate home run, scored three times and drove in three runs in an 18-2 win over Elmira, reaching base four times … hit a home run, scored four runs, and drove in two in a 17-1 win over St. Lawrence … hit a three-run homer against Liberty League foe Vassar at Tiger Stadium … had nine RBIs in a four-game series against Vassar, including three straight three RBI contests … drove in a season-high four runs in a big win over Union … drove in his 100th career RBI in an 8-7 win at The College at Brockport … ended his collegiate career on a seven-game hitting streak … batted .484 (15-for-31) with five RBIs over that stretch … walked a career-high four times against Wisconsin-Oshkosh … recorded a sparkling .990 fielding percentage in 381 chances … set single-season school mark with 366 putouts … part of 17 double plays turned … reached base in a team-high 35 games … had at least one hit in 30 contests … recorded 15 multiple-hit contests … had five games with at least three RBIs. 2013: Honored with the Futures Collegiate Baseball League Adam Keenan Memorial Sportsmanship and Scholarship Award … earned American Baseball Coaches of America (ABCA)/Rawlings All-New York Region third team honors … garnered All-Liberty League Honorable Mention accolades … enjoyed a breakout season for the Tigers … only Tiger to play in and start all 39 games … set RIT single-season records with 150 at-bats and 364 putouts … led the team with 53 hits, third most in one season at RIT, 12 doubles, fourth most in a single season, and 35 RBI's, sixth best in a season … recorded a team-best 69 total bases, while scoring 28 runs and stealing nine bases, both second most on the squad … led the Liberty League in putouts, RBI’s, and was fourth in hits … drove in a career-high six runs on a pair of occasions, in a 22-1 win over SUNY Canton, and a 20-0 win over Vassar … scored a career-high three runs in the win over Canton … recorded a hit in 31 of 39 games, with 17 multiple-hit efforts … ended the season with a double in five straight games … ripped a career-high four hits in a 15-1 win over Houghton … had triples on back-to-back days vs. Vassar … stole two bases in a 3-2 win over SUNY Brockport … tied for the team lead with three sacrifice flies … recorded a .980 fielding percentage … was on the receiving end of 33 double plays. 2012: Became the first hard-of-hearing athlete to compete at the 19th annual "Old Time Game" in Cambridge, Mass. … appeared in 35 games in the field, and 10 on the mound … at the plate, recorded 19 hits and four runs batted in … picked up two wins on the mound … went 2-for-3 with a double in his first collegiate game against Beloit … was 2-for-4 with a double, run scored, and run batted in against Rensselaer … had two hits in contests against Clarkson and Rochester … started nine games on the mound … picked up a win on the mound against Wentworth, allowing four runs in five innings … also earned a win against Keuka, allowing three earned runs in five innings on four hits … struck out a season-high 10 batters in 7 2/3 innings against Union.
