• Started playing catch when he was three and started playing in tee-ball when was five.
• Best advice received during career: being told by his pitching coach to “trust [his] stuff” and remember that he was “better than anyone that stepped into the box” after struggling early in his senior year of high school.
• Favorite athletic memory: Helping his summer league team defeat the number one seed in the playoffs.
• Says his father has had the most influence on his athletic career. “He taught me how to play baseball and how to pitch.”
• Favorite pro team: Any Philadelphia team, especially the Phillies teams of 2008 and 2009.
• Favorite athlete: Jimmy Rollins.
• Hobbies include playing video games, working, driving, listening to music, and skiing.
• Volunteered throughout high school doing community service in the Conestoga Key Club, and volunteered at the Center for Loss and Bereavement’s Camp Millie.
