Biography

Career: Made 40 appearances, tied for ninth all-time at the university.

2015: Garnered All-Liberty League honorable mention accolades … enjoyed a tremendous senior season for the Tigers, going 5-1 on the mound with a 4.12 earned run average, walking just seven batters in 43 2/3 innings … tied for the team lead with five wins … held opponents to a .245 batting average, seventh best in the Liberty League … tied for fifth among all Liberty League pitchers with five wins … was 4-0 with a 3.62 ERA and just three walks in 32 1/3 innings during Liberty League play … named the RIT Male Athlete of the Week, April 20 … needed just 89 pitches to record his first collegiate shut out, scattering four hits in a 5-0, nine-inning win at Skidmore … opened the year by allowing just two hits and an unearned run in an 8-2 win over Houghton … threw five scoreless innings, scattering just three hits in a win over Vassar … fired 98 pitches in eight innings, allowing seven hits and two runs in a win over Union … struck out a season-high five batters in a win over Rensselaer … had a streak of 20 1/3 scoreless innings over three outings, April 12 to April 26. 2014: Enjoyed a breakout season, going 2-0 with a 3.58 earned run average in 32 2/3 innings … appeared in nine games, with three starts … second on the team with two saves … named the RIT Male Athlete of the Week, March 31 … had a 1.50 ERA over his first 18 innings … recorded his first complete-game win, scattering seven hits in an 8-1 win over Thomas … picked up the win in his final start of the year, allowing two hits in four innings of a 5-2 victory over The College at Brockport … pitched a scoreless seventh inning to earn his first save in a rain-shortened 9-7 win over Bard that went seven innings … also picked up a save by pitching the final 3 2/3 innings in a 12-7 win over Skidmore. 2013: Led all RIT pitchers by making 13 appearances … started four games … earned his first collegiate win in relief against Rochester … fired two innings of scoreless relief against Rensselaer and St. John Fisher … made his first collegiate start, allowing one run in three innings, as RIT defeated Skidmore, 4-1 … also started games against Brockport, Union, and Oswego … had an impressive 2.53 earned run average, holding opposing hitters to a .171 batting average in Liberty League games. 2012: Appeared in 10 games … made his collegiate debut against nationally-ranked SUNY Cortland … threw a scoreless inning of relief against Vassar and Skidmore … recorded his first collegiate strikeout against SUNY Brockport … plunked five batters in 10 innings of work. Click HERE for 2012 Stats
