Nick Carrier begins his second season as a volunteer hitting coach for the Tigers.

Carrier played college baseball at Finger Lakes Community College and SUNY Oswego. Carrier served as the associate head coach and hitting coach for the Geneva Red Wings of the New York Collegiate Baseball League in 2008. He also was an assistant coach at Honeoye Falls-Lima High School.

Carrier is also the associate scout for the Cincinnati Reds for western New York. He has owned and operated a baseball school in the Finger Lakes area.

Carrier resides in Henrietta with his wife, Niki.
