Biography

Career: Tied for sixth all-time at the university with 30 doubles … also in the top-20 with 187 total bases, 137 hits and 83 runs batted in.
 
2017:
Garnered ABCA/All-New York Region second team honors … earned 2017 All-Liberty League first team accolades … Liberty League Championship All-Tournament Team selection … broke the RIT single-season record with 16 doubles, which led the Liberty League …  served as one of RIT’s three captains … second on the team in hitting with a .337 batting average to go along with 56 hits, 80 total bases, two home runs and 39 RBIs, while slugging .482 to go along with a .426 on-base percentage … tied the single-season school record with 166 at-bats, fifth with 56 hits and sixth in one season at RIT with 39 RBIs … drew 26 walks, tied for eighth most in one season at RIT … second in the Liberty League in hits, total bases and RBIs … reached base safely in 41 of 42 games … had at least one hit in 36 games … enjoyed a 10-game hitting streak, April 23 to May 7 … batted .390 (16-for-41) over that stretch with 12 RBIs … reached base in his final 17 games … opened the year by going 3-for-4 with three runs scored in an 11-2 win at Arcadia … started the season by hitting .438 over his first nine games … was 2-for-4 with a triple, walk, two RBIs and two runs scored in game two at Arcadia … hit a solo home run and walked twice in the Liberty League Tournament opener against Vassar … broke the RIT single-season record for doubles in the Liberty League Championship against Clarkson … homered in a win over St. Lawrence … was 2-for-4 with a double, walk and season-high three RBIs in a victory over Vassar … went 3-for-5 with two doubles in a 7-6 win at The College at Brockport … had three hits and two RBIs in a 9-5 win at St. John Fisher … drove in at least two RBIs in a game 10 times … had 16 multiple hit outings … hit .299 with a home run and 24 RBIs in 23 Liberty League contests. 2016: Served as one of RIT’s four team captains … played and started RIT’s first five games before suffering a season-ending injury … hit .444 (8-for-18) with two runs scored, two walks, a double, home run, and five runs batted in … had a hit in all five games he played in … was 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs and a run scored in a loss to Immaculata … hit a solo home run and doubled in the series finale at Immaculata … drove in a run in four of his five games played. 2015: Hit .309 with a .438 on-base percentage in 28 games, despite missing time due to injuries … fourth on the team with 21 walks to just 14 strikeouts in 121 plate appearances … chipped in with a home run, six doubles, and 15 runs batted in … ended the season with a nine-game hitting streak, April 29 to May 9 … batted .459 (17-for-37) 10 RBIs over that stretch … batted .476 (10-for-21) with a homer and six RBIs in the Liberty League Tournament to end the season … enjoyed a six-game hitting streak, March 25 to April 11 … hit .310 in 12 Liberty League regular season contests … drew a career-best four walks in the season-opening 7-1 win over Houghton … drew nine walks over his first three games, and 11 over the first five contests of the season … was career-best 4-for-6 with his first home run of the year, season-best three RBIs, and two runs scored in RIT’s wild 9-5 win over Clarkson in the Liberty League Tournament … reached base in all but three of his games played. 2014: Appeared in 22 games, starting 18 … recorded 12 hits … scored four runs … batted in seven runs … hit one double and one triple … was hit by two pitches … had a season-high two hits to and batted in two runs in a win against Bard … recorded a triple and batted in two runs the next day against Bard. 2013: Played in 37 games, making 30 starts in the outfield … fourth on the team with a .316 batting average, clubbing one home run to go along with 17 runs batted in … made his collegiate debut with a base hit against Farmingdale State … ended the season by going 7-for-10 over his last three games … hit RIT’s first home run of the season, a solo shot against Rensselaer … was 3-for-5 with two runs scored, two RBI’s, and a stolen base against Brockport … went 3-for-4 with a triple that scored the eventual game-winning run in a 5-4 victory over Rochester … drove in a pair of runs in the season-ending 15-1 win over Houghton … had one outfield assist against Clarkson, cutting down a runner at the plate to preserve a shutout for teammate Michael Burns … had eight multiple-hit games. Before RIT: Played two years of varsity baseball at Holy Name High School … hit .386 with 14 doubles, four triples, three home runs, and 30 RBI’s during his senior season … had a slugging percentage of .773 … senior captain … earned All-North Coast League first team honors … North Coast League MVP runner-up … GCBCA All-Star … NEOBCA All-Star … earned Sun News All-Region team honors … led team to three League and Sectional Championships … Holy Name also won two District titles and a Regional Championship.
