INDOOR/OUTDOOR POLICIES

Review RIT Tailgating Policy (PDF)
  • RIT prohibits the possession or consumption of alcohol in any public area on campus, including tailgates at home athletics events.
  • RIT is a tobacco-restricted campus. Smoking and the use of tobacco is restricted to designated tobacco areas on campus.
  • No animals are allowed on or in any athletic facilities, with the exception of service animals.
Respectful and Safe Environment
Fans should be respectful of players, coaches, officials, event staff, and other spectators at all times. This includes being aware of their choice of language and activities. Individuals are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes a safe environment for all and reflects positively on RIT. Individuals acting in a disruptive, disrespectful, distasteful, and/or disorderly manner may be asked to leave the premises or be subject to citation. In these instances RIT students can also be charged with a Student Code of Conduct violation.
