Biography

Career: Finished his RIT career as the university’s all-time leader with 150 games played … RIT’s all-time Division I leader with three overtime goals … has nine game-winning goals, second most at RIT in the Division I era … just outside the top-10 with 33 goals and 71 points.

2012-13: Played in 36 games, tallying 13 points on seven goals and six assists … tied for the team lead with three game-winning goals … opened the season with a bang, scoring just 14 seconds into overtime in the season opener, lifting RIT to a 5-4 win over No. 3 Michigan at Yost Arena … scored 1:07 into overtime to lift the Tigers to a dramatic 3-2 win over Mercyhurst … dished out a career-best three assists and was plus-2 in a 4-2 win over Army … tallied the game-winning goal with 1:30 left in regulation to lift RIT to a 4-3 win over St. Lawrence …  was sixth nationally among all Division I skaters, winning 59.7 percent of his face-offs taken (341-for-571) … scored goals in back-to-back wins over Sacred Heart … tallied a power-play goal in a 4-3 win over Robert Morris … became RIT’s all-time leader in games played in game one of the Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinal series at Niagara … fired 73 shots on goal … had five goals and nine points in 25 Atlantic Hockey Association games … Tigers were 7-4-0 when he recorded at least one point … named to the AHA All-Academic Team.

2011-12: Played in 37 games, recording seven goals and eight assists for 15 points … scored the game-tying goal with nine seconds left in regulation in RIT’s wild 6-5 win over St. Lawrence at Blue Cross Arena as part of Brick City Homecoming and Family Weekend … recorded a goal and an assist in a 5-3 win over Army … tallied two points with the game-winning goal and an assist and was plus-2 in a 3-1 win over American International … scored a power-play goal in a 3-0 win over eventual 2012 NCAA National Runner-up Ferris State at the Catamount Cup hosted by Vermont … also tallied power-play markers in wins over Holy Cross and Canisius … recorded 12 points (4-8-12) in 26 AHA games … won 60.3 percent of his face-offs taken (313-for-519), best on the squad … Tigers were 11-2-0 when he tallied at least a point. 2010-11: Appeared in 36 games … fifth on the team in scoring with 25 points (11-14-25) … recorded career-highs in all three categories … named the RIT Male Athlete of the Week, Nov. 1 … earned Mutual of Omaha Stampede All-Tournament Team honors … tallied two separate five-game point-scoring streaks, Oct. 29 to Nov. 13 and Jan. 29 to Feb. 13 … scored the game-winning power-play goal with 2:53 left in overtime, lifting RIT to a dramatic, 1-0 win over Air Force … scored a career-high two power-play goals, including the game-winner with 5:46 left in regulation, snapping a 3-3 tie and lifting the Tigers to a 5-3 win at No. 14 Cornell … dished out two assists, including the primary helper on Adam Mitchell’s overtime game-winner and was plus-2 in a 3-2 win over Robert Morris … opened the season with 14 points (7-7-14) over his first 13 games … led RIT with 308 face-off wins and a .560 face-off winning percentage … second on the team with seven power-play goals … tied for third on RIT with 11 goals, 88 shots, and 12 power-play points … tallied 18 points (7-11-18) in 26 AHA contests … had seven multiple-point outings … Tigers were 11-3-4 when he recorded a point. 2009-10: Played in all 41 games … second among all Tiger rookies with eight goals, 18 points, and a plus-15 … recorded seven points (3-4-7) during a four-game point-scoring streak, Feb. 26 to March 13 … two-time Atlantic Hockey Association Rookie of the Week, March 1 and March 15 … tallied a career-best three points (1-2-3) in a 5-4 win over Canisius … tallied three game-winning goals, tied for second most on the squad … scored his first collegiate goal in his second game against St. Lawrence … made his collegiate debut in the season opener against Colgate … scored two power-play goals, both of which were game-winners … won 57.8 percent (218-of-377) of face-offs taken, second best on the squad … recorded 13 points (6-7-13) and was plus-10 in 28 AHA contests … scored a point in 14 games … Tigers were 10-4-0 in those contests … tallied three multiple-point efforts … earned AHA All-Academic Team honors. Before RIT: Played for the Surrey Eagles of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) … led Surrey with 28 goals, 35 assists, and 63 points in 2008-09 … sixth in the league with 14 power-play goals and 13th overall with 63 points … recorded 135 points (59-76-135) in 178 games over parts of four seasons in the BCHL … was the Pacific International Junior Hockey League (PIJHL) Rookie of the Year and leading scorer in 2005-06.
