Biography

Career: Set RIT record with 63 stolen bases … 160 total hits are third most all-time in program history … scored 115 runs, fourth most in school history … nine triples are fifth most all-time, while his 200 total bases are eighth most.
 
2011: Named a CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-American for the second straight season … earned ABCA/Rawlings All-New York Region second team honors … earned All-Empire 8 First Team honors … started all 35 games … led RIT with a .393 batting average, 53 hits and 21 stolen bases … his 53 hits were fifth most in a single season in team history, while his 21 stolen bases were third most … added 21 RBI’s and 29 runs scored … reached base safely in 31 games … had 20 multi-hit games … went 3-for-3 with a RBI, a run scored and two stolen bases against Ithaca … had six hits and four RBI’s in a double-header against Utica … stole three bases and scored twice in the final game of the season against Rochester … hit a solo home run in a win over Cazenovia … two-time Empire 8 and ECAC Player of the Week … hit .510 (24-for-47) over a 13 game stretch, March 1 to April 3 … ended the season by hitting .556 (15-for-27) over his last eight games, May 5 to May 10.

2010: Earned CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-Region first team honors... garnered All-Empire 8 first team accolades... played in and started all 38 games... set a single-season record with 148 at-bats... scored 41 runs, tied for second most in one season at RIT... 16 stolen bases are the sixth most in one season, while 49 hits are eighth most at RIT... hit .331 with two home runs and 18 RBI's... tied a career-high with four hits, while scoring three runs, and driving in a pair against Cazenovia... also scored three times in wins over Hilbert and Utica... was 3-for-5 with his first collegiate home run, three runs scored, and three RBI's in a 17-0 win over Utica... scored a run in 10 straight games, March 3 to March 29... hit a home run and drove in three runs at Stevens... stole two bases in a game three times... recorded a hit in 28 games... tallied 16 multiple-hit efforts... named to the Empire 8 President's List for maintaining a 3.75 grade-point average.

2009: Earned All-Empire 8 second team honors … tied the RIT single-season record by stealing 23 bases in just 24 attempts … had a sparkling .428 on-base percentage … second on the team with 31 runs scored, 22 RBI, and 13 walks … tied for the team lead by getting hit by a pitch seven times … was 4-for-4 with career-best totals of five RBI and three runs scored in a 13-0 win over Keuka … tied a school record by stealing four bases in a win over Cazenovia … named the Empire 8 Player of the Week, May 4 … stole bases in four straight games twice … went 3-for-5 with three runs scored, and three stolen bases in a win over Medaille … scored three times, drove in two runs, and stole two bases in a 13-7 win over Babson … recorded a hit in 23 games … tallied 12 multiple-hit games … ended the season with 11 hits in final 22 at-bats … named to the Empire 8 President’s List for maintaining a 3.75 grade-point average.

2008: Started 21 games … hit .302 with 19 hits and 12 RBI … had his first two collegiate hits against Catholic … tallied his first collegiate triple, en route to three hits, three RBI, two runs and a stolen base in a 19-10 victory over Utica … had five hits in a doubleheader sweep of Utica … drove in three runs against Stevens … made just four errors in 84 chances … named to the Empire 8 President's List for maintaining a 3.75 grade point average.

Before RIT: Played three years of varsity baseball at Livonia High School … twoyear team captain … earned All-Livingston County honors in 2006 and 2007 … All-New York State second team selection as a senior … hit .461 and had a .597 onbase percentage as a senior … also played varsity football.
