2009: One of RIT’s three captains … finished second on the team with nine points (3-3-9) … tallied a season-high three points (1-1-3) in a 3-0 win over SUNY Oswego … scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win over Clarkson … scored the game-tying goal in RIT’s eventual win over nationally-ranked Rochester … fired eight shots, including three on goal in a 1-0 win over Keuka … played in and started 15 games … led RIT with 36 shots.
2008: One of three Tigers to start all 20 games … earned All-Empire 8 honorable mention accolades … second on the team with 10 points (4-2-10) … named RIT Female Athlete of the Week, Sept. 22 … exploded for a career-high five points on two goals and an assist in a 4-1 win over St. John Fisher … scored both RIT goals in a 2-0 win over Keuka … recorded two game-winning goals.
2007: Played and started 14 games … fired 21 shots, including 10 on goal … named to the Empire 8 President’s List for maintaining a 3.75 grade-point average.
Before RIT: Played two seasons at Monroe Community College … helped MCC win the 2005 Junior College National Championship … named Most Athletic Female at Guilderland High School in 2005 … Section II All-Star … also played varsity basketball and lacrosse.
Personal: A two-sport athlete, Ashley also plays lacrosse for the Tigers … ceramics major … born Feb. 12, 1987, in Guilderland, N.Y. … daughter of Susan and Frank Pezze.
