2009: Appeared in RIT’s first six games of the season … made his collegiate debut, stopping three shots in a shutout win over SUNY Oswgeo … stopped a season-high nine shots against nationally-ranked Hobart … also picked up a victory over Hamilton … recorded a 1.80 goals against average in nearly 500 minutes of action.

Before RIT: Played four years of varsity soccer at nearby Aquinas Institute … helped lead team to the 2006 New York State Championship … Aquinas finished 16-4-1 in 2008, advancing to the Section V Championship game … also competed in varsity track and field.

Personal: Business administration major … born Feb. 14, 1991, in Rochester, N.Y. … son of Nese and Ahmet Turgut.
