Biography
2007-08: Appeared in 37 races ... took firstplace victory in the 200-yard medley relay at St. Lawrence University and Nazareth ... had a stellar meet at Nazareth, recording wins in the 100-yard backstroke and 200-yard medley relay and also recorded his top time of :50.63 in the 100-yard freestyle .. also garnered 12 secondplace finishes.
2006-07: Appeared in 14 races … placed second in the 100-yard freestyle versus Nazareth and 100-yard backstroke versus SUNY Brockport … garnered a pair of third-place finishes … had a season-best time of :22.81 in the 50-freestyle and :58.08 in the 100-backstroke.
2005-06: Placed third in four different events … recorded a season-best time of :22.93 at the state championships in the 50-yard freestyle … earned two third-place finishes in the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke against SUNY Brockport.
Before RIT: Swam varsity for Clarence High School ... attended state meet two years ... obtained All-American honors.
Personal: Electrical engineering major ... born Oct. 2, 1986 in Clarence, N.Y. .. son of Kelly and Patrick Duffy.
