2006: Fought through injuries to play in 12 games … earned regular minutes at forward … scored his first collegiate goal in a 4-2 win over Alfred … tallied an assist in a 7-0 win over SUNY Potsdam … recorded 11 shots … started nine games.

Before RIT: Played varsity soccer at Brentwood High School… led team to back-to-back league championships … earned All-County Scholastic award.

Personal: New media major … born Aug. 12, 1987 in Bayshore, N.Y. … son of Alicia and Rafael Diaz.
