Biography
2006: Fought through injuries to pitch in just 11 games …named Empire 8 Pitcher of the Week, April 24 … threw six complete games … threw a three-hitter, picking up the win against University of Rochester … came back and allowed two unearned runs and just five hits in a 3-2 win over Hartwick … struck out 36 batters … named to the Empire 8 President’s List for maintaining a 3.75 grade-point average.
2005: Enjoyed a stellar season on the mound … earned All-Empire 8 second-team honors … went just 7-8, but had a 1.80 earned run average and struck out 109 batters in 101 1/3 innings … led RIT with three saves … threw back-to-back one hitters, striking out nine versus Elmira and punching out 13 batters against Hartwick … named RIT and RACA Co-Female Athlete of the Week, May 1 … allowed just one earned run and struck out 37 batters over her final 27 innings of the season, lowering her ERA over a half run … threw back-to-back shutouts against Empire 8 rivals St. John Fisher and Utica.
2004: Had an outstanding rookie season... posted a 0.86 ERA and had an 8-5 record... struck out 87 batters and allowed 10 earned runs in 81.2 innings... batted .208... had five hits in 24 at bats.
Before RIT: Played four years of varsity softball at West Seneca West … named to the ECIC All-Star Team four straight seasons … team captain … team MVP.
