Biography

Career: RIT’s all-time leader in assists (47) and points (54) by a defenseman at the Division I level … second in overall assists … fourth in goals by a defenseman, with seven.

2007-08: Led all RIT and Atlantic Hockey blueliners in assists (31) and points (34) … earned All-Atlantic Hockey Association first team honors … led all defenseman in the country with 0.94 points per game … tied for the national lead among defenseman in assists … second overall in points by a blueliner … fourth overall in the nation in assists per game … tied for fifth nationally in assists … led RIT with a plus-9 rating … recorded 26 powerplay points (3-23-26) … earned RIT Male Athlete of the Week honors, Feb. 11 … tallied a five-game assist scorng streak, Oct. 13 to Nov. 3 … recorded a career-best four assists against Canisius … dished out three assists in game one of the Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinals against Holy Cross … recorded 13 points (2-11-13) during a seven-game point scoring streak, Feb. 1 to March 23 … named to Empire 8 President’s List for maintaining a 3.75 grade-point average … named to Atlantic Hockey Association All-Academic team.

2006-07: Appeared in 30 games … recorded four goals and added 16 assists for 20 points … named Atlantic Hockey Association Rookie of the Week, Dec. 4 … scored the game-winning, power-play goal with 1.5 seconds left in regulation, lifting RIT to a 6-5 win over Mercyhurst … recorded a career-best three points in that victory … scored his first collegiate goal and added an assist in a victory over Holy Cross … had 18 points and was plus-4 in 25 Atlantic Hockey Association contests … tallied six multiple-point games … named to Empire 8 President’s List for maintaining a 3.75 gradepoint average … named to Atlantic Hockey Association All-Academic team.

Before RIT: Played junior hockey with former Tiger Steve Pinizzotto, who is now in the Washington Capitals organization … played two years with the Oakville Blades of the Ontario Provinicial Junior Hockey League (OPJHL) … led Oakville to a conference championship … registered eight goals and 28 assists for 36 points in 47 games during the 2005-06 season.
