Biography

Career: One of two RIT players (Brennan Sarazin) to play every game in three seasons of Division I play.

2007-08: Appeared in all 37 contests … earned All-Atlantic Hockey Association third team honors … recipient of RIT’s Greg Moss Hard Hat Award, given to player who performs at a high level with little fanfare … set career-high in assists (10), points (12) and penalty minutes (40) … was plus-5 overall … plus-7 in Atlantic Hockey play … recorded all 12 points in contests against Atlantic Hockey foes … tied a career-high with two points in wins over Mercyhurst and Canisius … had a goal and an assist against Mercyhurst and two assists against Canisius … among team leaders in blocked shots … scored a goal and was plus-2 at Bentley … named to Empire 8 President’s List for maintaining a 3.75 grade-point average … named to Atlantic Hockey Association All-Academic team.

2006-07: Dependable defenseman played in all of RIT’s contests for the second straight year … recorded two goals and added six assists … finished the season plus-6 … recorded seven of his eight points in Atlantic Hockey play … had his first multi-point effort with two assists in a 5-1 win over Holy Cross … scored goals against Air Force and Army … named to Empire 8 President’s List for maintaining a 3.75 grade-point average … named to Atlantic Hockey Association All-Academic team.

2005-06: Stepped right in and saw plenty of ice time … played in all 35 games … had seven points on three goals and four assists… tallied his first collegiate goal in RIT’s first win as a Division I program, 5-2 over Air Force at the Quinnipiac Tournament … scored the game-winner against USA Under-18 … scored power-play goals against Air Force and USA Under-18 … garnered 34 penalty minutes.

Before RIT: Played for the Owen Sound Greys of the Midwestern Junior Hockey League (MWJHL) … played in 48 regular season games … scored eight goals and had 27 assists … played in 14 playoff games his final season… scored three goals and had six assists in playoff action.
