Biography

Career: Second among defensemen at RIT in goals (11) during the Division I era … third among RIT defensemen in points (52) … fourth among all RIT skaters in Division I assists (41).

2007-08: Appeared in 34 games … battled nagging injuries throughout the season … third among all Atlantic Hockey defenseman in scoring (4-14- 18) during league play … tallied five goals and added 17 assists for 22 points overall … tied for fourth overall on the team in points … scored all five goals on the power-play to go along with nine assists … recorded a six game pointscoring streak (2-7-9) Feb. 10 to March 1 … scored the game-winning goal in the regular season finale, a 5-2 win over Bentley … fired 60 shots on goal … had a goal and an assist against Bowling Green, Air Force, Mercyhurst and Bentley … recorded six multiple-point games … RIT was 4-1-1 in those contests … named to Atlantic Hockey Association All-Academic team.

2006-07: Named the Atlantic Hockey Association Rookie of the Year … awarded the Craig Lauzon Award as RIT’s top rookie … earned All-Atlantic Hockey Association third team honors … named to Atlantic Hockey All- Rookie Team … appeared in 29 games … recorded six goals and added 24 assists for 30 points … led all RIT defensemen in assists and points … third overall on team in assists and fourth in points … led RIT with a plus-19 rating … scored his first collegiate goal in his second game against Union … recorded 12 assists during a six-game streak, all against league foes … had five goals and 22 assists in league play … 27 points were tops among all league defensemen … third in the nation in points per game by a defenseman … tallied three goals and 16 assists on the power play … had a season-high three assists in a game three times … recorded his first three-assist game and was a plus-3 in a 6-3 win over Canisius … recorded seven multiple-point games … named to Atlantic Hockey Association All-Academic team.

Before RIT: Played for the Merritt Centennials of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) in 2005-06 … renowned in the BCHL as the premier offensive defenseman … led all defensemen in scoring in 2005-06 … scored 15 goals and added 55 assists in 52 games … selected to the BCHL All-Star Game two years in a row … scored 34 goals and added 117 assists in 166 games over three seasons in the BCHL.
