Before RIT: Played for the Oakville Blades of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League (OPJHL) … recorded 35 points (9-26-35) in 42 regular season games, and added 16 points (3-13-16) in 20 playoff games a season ago … assistant captain … helped lead Oakville to a 39-6-4 mark and the OPJHL Championship … team won the Dudley Hewitt Cup and earned a trip to Ontario’s Royal Bank Cup … was the 2007-08 OHA Top Prospect Award winner … captain of the Canada East team at the World Junior-A challenge … led Canada East to a silver medal … was a junior teammate of current Tiger Trevor Eckenswiller.
