Biography

2007: Made the transition from the mound to starting in centerfield … appeared in 35 games … did not make an error in 64 chances … earned ABCA/Rawlings All-New Region Gold Glove honors … stole 17 bases in 18 attempts … the 17 steals are the third most in a single-season at RIT … had a least hit in 11 of his final14 games … hit .357 (15-for-42) with 14 runs scored and nine RBI during that span, raising his average from .185 to .260 … tied a Tiger single-game record with two triples, while driving in two runs and scoring three times in a 15-11 win over Wartburg … was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and three RBI in a 10-4 win over St. Lawrence … walked 17 times … 17 stolen bases came in 17 different games.

2006: Pitched five games, all in relief … also played seven games in the outfield … allowed no runs in four of five appearances … struck out two batters in stints against SUNY Brockport and Hartwick … had a 1.05 ERA in 6 2/3 innings of work.

Before RIT: Played varsity baseball at Gates-Chili High School… earned first-team All-Monroe County honors in 2005 … senior captain … team MVP.
