Before RIT: Played three years of varsity baseball at Jamesville-Dewitt High School … two-year team captain … earned All-Onondaga High School League first team honors as a senior … was a second team selection the season before … team MVP … led team to OHSL championship in 2007 … hit .415 with 17 stolen bases and two home runs as a senior … also played varsity basketball.

Personal: Mechanical engineering major …  son of Charlene and Edward Hughes.
