2006-07: Played in 26 games, starting 18 … fourth on the team in scoring (7.2 points per game) … second with 24 made 3-pointers and third in total rebounds (130) … scored a career-best 14 points in an 82-70 win at Elmira … grabbed a season-best nine rebounds twice, in J.P. Morgan Chase Tournament games against St. John Fisher and Roberts Wesleyan … averaged 10 points per contest during a 10-game Empire 8 stretch, Jan. 19 to Feb. 10 … scored in 24 different games … had at least 10 points in a game on eight different occasions … earned Empire 8 President’s List honors for maintaining a 3.75 grade-point average.
2005-06: Appeared in 23 games … provided good defense and hard work while earning more playing time as the season wore on … pulled down 12 rebounds and hit a game-tying 3-pointer with two seconds left in regulation against SUNY Brockport in the J.P. Morgan Chase Scholarship Tournament … scored five points and added four steals in a win over D’Youville … made his first collegiate start against Alfred … earned Empire 8 President’s List honors for maintaining a 3.75 grade-point average.
Before RIT: Averaged 19 points, eight rebounds and five assists per game as a senior at Wellsville for Head Coach Jim Insley … team captain … two-time team MVP … named to the Section V All-Tournament Team twice … earned All-Greater Rochester Second Team and Third Team All-State honors … also played baseball at Wellsville … earned First Team All-State honors.

Coach McVean says: “After off-season surgery, Rick is slowly getting into game condition. We look to move him from the forward spot to the swing guard position, where he feels more comfortable and has more potential to score.”
