Biography

2005-06: Played in 34 games… finished third on the team in scoring… tallied nine goals and a career-high 16 assists… his 16 assists was third on the team… scored two or more points six times… had a season-high three points on two goals and an assist versus the USA Under-18 squad… scored two goals in an exhibition game versus the University of Waterloo.

2004-05: Had a fine rookie campaign… finished the season with 14 points on nine goals and five assists… his nine goals was good for second on the team… was 11th in the ECAC West among freshman in scoring… led the Tigers with eight power play goals… scored two goals against Elmira and Lebanon Valley… scored the game-winner against Geneseo and Lebanon Valley.

Before RIT: Played for the Kitchener Dutchmen... was named an assistant captain... in 42 games scored 40 goals and tallied 30 assists.

Coach Wilson Says: “Matt’s overall game has improved since his freshman season. He’s always been a capable goal scorer and we look for him to continue to be an offense threat for us.”
