2001-2002: Ran in five races on year year... recorded his season-best at the Roberts Wesleyan Invitational with a time of 31:44.

2002-2003: Best performance came at the Geneseo Invitational at Letchworth Park, where Abbott ran a 27:34, placing 39th overall.

Comments on Abbott: "Jeff has put in a lot of work over the last three years and he'll see the benefit of that this season."
