Full name: Marinna Rose Heichberger
Daughter of Gretchen and Mark Heichberger
Sister of Graeden, Garrison, and Marcus.
Her mother played basketball at SUNY Fredonia, her father competed in Track and Field for Canisius.
Her uncle and great-uncle both attended RIT.
Born in Buffalo, N.Y.
Started competing after watching previous Springville athletes at the State Championship.
Says her father has had the most influence on her athletic career. "He always supported my athletic ambitions."
Favorite athletic memory: Winning sectionals with her high school volleyball team.
Volunteered at 5K and Half Marathons in Ellicottville.
Favorite athlete: Olympian Sydney McLaughlin
Favorite team: Buffalo Bills
Hobbies include pickleball, singing, hiking, cooking, disc golf, and skiing.
