Biography

BEFORE RIT:
  • Ran on the cross country and track teams at Redondo Union High School.
  • Served as a student representative on the California State Parent Teacher Association Board of Managers, 2020-2021.
PERSONAL:
  • Full name: Jason Ryan Klugman
  • Son of Thomas and Linda Klugman.
  • His uncle, Andrew Avrick, graduated from RIT in 1980.
  • Started rowing in 2021.
  • Best advice received: "If there is a will, there is a way."
  • Heavily involved in taekwondo, holding a third-degree black belt. Is also a certified taekwondo referee in the state of California and was a junior instructor from 2018-2020.
