BEFORE RIT:

Sectional champion in 2020 for Newark Valley High School.
Two-time sectional runner-up.
Fifth in New York State in 2020.
Was third in academic class out of high school.

Hobbies include fishing and hunting.
Started wrestling in first grade because his brother started wrestling at that time.
Favorite athletic memory: Winning his final high school match to secure fifth place in the entire state.
Says his high school coach, Mike Daly, has had the most influence on his athletic career.
His victories in 2020 came after missing his junior year due to a torn ACL and meniscus.
Favorite team: New York Giants.
