2017-18: Competed in multiple pole vault events during the indoor and outdoor season … broke her own school record in pole vault vaulting mark 3.54 meters at the Atlantic Region Indoor Track and Field Championship, finishing fifth … placed sixth in pole vault at the Atlantic Region Track and Field Outdoor Championship by shattering the outdoor pole vault record at 3.45 … placed in the top-three eight times … earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors … also named RIT Athlete of the Week for the Week ending of Feb. 5 … named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team for maintaining a 3.30 grade-point average.
2016-17: competed in pole vault events during the indoor and outdoor season … finished in the top-5 thirteen times … recorded career best of 3.40m at the NYSCTC Indoor Track & Field Championship and finished second.
Before RIT: Competed in track and field, swimming and diving, and gymnastics at New Paltz High School.
Personal: Industrial design major ... part of the RIT Chamber Singers ... daughter of Deb and Tom Kaplan ... has two siblings, Claudia and Jack.
