Biography

Career: Fourth all-time at the university with 182 strikeouts … pitched 195 2/3 innings, sixth-most at RIT … tied for seventh at RIT with 15 wins … was 14-3 with a 3.21 earned run and 135 strikeouts in 143 innings against Liberty League opponents.

2018: Earned All-Liberty League Second Team honors … led the Tigers with five wins in to go along with three complete games and a team-best 49 strikeouts in 51 2/3 innings … served as a 2018 tri-captain … tied for third among all Liberty League pitchers in wins and was sixth in strikeouts and complete games … strung together four consecutive wins, all against Liberty League opponents … struck out a season-high 11 batters without issuing a walk in a complete-game effort against Bard … struck out 29 batters in 20 innings over a three-start stretch, March 30-April 13 … pitched a complete-game five-hitter with nine strikeouts in a 10-2 win over eventual Liberty League Champion Union … also defeated St. Lawrence (twice), Rensselaer and Clarkson … came out of the bullpen to earn the win over Clarkson, throwing 3 1/3 innings … fired a season-high 122 pitches over seven innings in his final collegiate start, allowing two runs and striking out seven, as RIT defeated Rensselaer, 3-2 in the Liberty League Wildcard game … was 5-1 in Liberty League competition … named to the Liberty League All-Academic team for maintaining at least a 3.30 grade-point average. 2016: Earned All-Liberty League Honorable Mention accolades … started eight games on the mound, going 2-3 with a 4.35 earned run average with 44 strikeouts in 50 innings pitched … threw his first collegiate shutout, allowing four hits with strikeouts in a 5-0 win over University of Rochester … named the Liberty League Pitcher of the Week, May 2 … allowed opponents to hit just .257 against him … struck out at least six batters in five starts … struck out a career-best eight batters, while allowing two runs over 5 1/3 innings against Elmhurst … threw career-best 7 2/3 innings in back-to-back starts against Liberty League foes Union and Renesselaer … struck out seven and did not walk a batter against Union … threw at least five innings in all eight starts … also earned a win in his final start of the season, a 19-4 victory over Bard … named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team. 2015: Appeared in nine outings on the mound, with five starts … made his collegiate debut by firing a scoreless inning of relief with two strikeouts in the season-opening 7-1 win over Houghton … made his first collegiate start on the mound against Wisconsin-Oshkosh … fired three innings of hitless relief with a pair of strikeouts on just 38 pitches against Vassar … threw a season-high 5 1/3 innings and 84 pitches, allowing six hits and three earned runs with four strikeouts against Rensselaer … pitched five innings of effective relief, allowing just a pair of earned runs in the Liberty League Championship game against Rensselaer … struck out a season-high five batters against SUNY Oswego.
