2017-18: Competed in several short and middle distance events … set career best times in the 50-yard freestyle (24.79), 100-yard freestyle (54.62), 500-yard (5:17.79), 100-yard (1:01.91), 200-yard (2:20.52), 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.20) and 200-yard individual medley (2:13.32) … finished first in the 50-yard freestyle at the Liberty League Championship.

Before RIT: Was a four-year varsity swimmer at Lima Christian High School ... was Section V Class D champion in the 100-yard breaststroke and 500-yard freestyle in 2016-17.

Personal: Industrial and systems engineering major ... son of Jennifer and Robert Brushafer ... has three sisters, Mary Kate, Emily and Sarah and one brother, Jack.
