Biography
2017-18: Competed in multiple short and middle distance events … finished in the top-five six times at the Liberty League Championship and set five new career best times at the Liberty League Championship and team best time in the 50 free (21.39), 100 free (49.01), 100 back (53.03), and 200 back (2:00.41) … finished in the top-three 30 times including ten victories.
2016-17: Competed in several short and middle distance events … was atop the team in the 50-yard freestyle, with a career-best time of 21.56 … placed ninth in the 50-yard freestyle at states (1:57.46) … also set new personal bests in the 100-yard (55.11) freestyle, 100-yard backstroke (1:05.35), and 100-yard butterfly (1:05.25).
Before RIT: Swam at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.
Personal: Electrical engineering major ... son of Linda and Joseph Genovese ... has two siblings: Jennifer and Anthony.
