Biography

Career: Second in RIT’s Division I era with 210 penalty minutes.
 
2017-18: Served as one of RIT's four captains … played in all 37 games and recorded career-highs with six goals and 19 points … was third among RIT defensemen in scoring … third overall on the team with 102 shots on goal … had five-multiple-point outings and two power-play goals … three-time Atlantic Hockey Defensive Player of the Week, Oct. 31, Nov. 13 and Jan. 23 … tied a career-high by scoring two goals in a 5-4 win at Army West Point … tallied a goal and an assist, was plus-3 and fired seven shots on goal in a 6-2 win at Robert Morris … had a goal and an assist in a 5-2 win over Robert Morris earlier in the season … recorded six points (2-4-6) over a six-game stretch, Feb. 10 to Feb. 24 … dished out an assist and was plus-3 in a 4-0 win at No. 9 Providence … assisted on both RIT goals in a 2-0 win over Canisius … blocked 50 shots … had season-high six blocked shots against Union … fired at least five shots on goal in a game six times … had six goals and 11 assists for 17 points and was plus-6 in 28 AHA games. 2016-17: Played in all 37 games … second among all RIT defensemen with 18 points on four goals and 14 assists … named the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week, Feb. 28 … named the HERO Sports Division I Men’s Hockey HERO of the Week, March 2 … recorded career-best totals of two goals, three points, and seven shots on goal, while recording a plus-2 rating in a 7-1 win over Mercyhurst in the regular season finale … also scored the game-winning power-play goal in that contest … dished out a career-high three assists in game one of the Atlantic Hockey First Round series against Niagara … had a goal and an assist in game two against Niagara, a 5-0 win … had two assists in the season-opening 6-3 win over Robert Morris … was plus-2 with two assists in a 3-1 win over Sacred Heart … career-high plus-3 in a 6-2 victory over Army West Point … had eight points (3-5-8) over a three-game span, Feb. 25 to March 4 … among the team leaders with 86 shots on goal … third on the Tigers with 45 blocked shots … had two power-play goals … led RIT, was second in Atlantic Hockey, and third in all of Division I with 101 penalty minutes … the 101 penalty minutes were second most in one season in RIT’s Division I era, fifth most overall at the university … had 13 points (3-10-13) in 28 Atlantic Hockey Regular season games … Tigers were 7-4-0 when recorded at least one point. 2015-16: Played in 32 contests … tallied eight points on two goals and six assists and was plus-5 … led the team with 45 penalty minutes … scored a goal and added an assist and was plus-2 in a 4-2 win over American International … was plus-3 in a 4-2 win over Mercyhurst … fired season-best seven shots on goal in a 2-2 tie against Holy Cross ... scored a goal in a 3-3 tie against the Crusaders the next night … fired 60 shots on goal … blocked 29 shots, including season-high four in a 6-3 win over Robert Morris … recorded eight points in 25 Atlantic Hockey contests … Tigers were 5-1-1 when he recorded a point. 2014-15: Appeared in 33 contests, recording nine points on two goals and seven assists … earned Atlantic Hockey Championship All-Tournament Team honors … Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week, March 31 … scored the game’s opening goal and was plus-2 in the 5-1 Atlantic Hockey Championship win over Mercyhurst … made his collegiate debut, recording his first point, an assist, and was plus-2 in a 5-2 win over St. Lawrence … had a pair of assists in a 5-1 victory at Air Force … scored his first collegiate goal on a career-high seven shots and was plus-2 in an 8-0 win over Mercyhurst … was plus-3 in a 5-1 victory over Sacred Heart … had three points in the postseason … recorded five points (1-4-5) and was plus-4 in 22 Atlantic Hockey contests … fired 55 shots on goal … blocked 26 shots, including a season-high four on two separate occasions … Tigers were 7-1-0 when he recorded at least a point. Before RIT: Played the last four seasons in the Alberta Junior Hockey league, first for the St. Albert Steel and most recently with the Whitecourt Wolverines … enjoyed a breakout season in 2013-14, recording 42 points on 10 goals and 32 assists in 51 games, while racking up 155 penalty minutes en route to earning Whitecourt MVP honors … recorded 502 penalty minutes in 194 AJHL contests … three-year assistant captain … St. Albert's Rookie of the Year in 2010-11 and Whitecourt's top defensive defenseman from 2012-14.
