2018-19: Had a strong final season … finished eighth on the team, earning 155 points … recorded two wins, five seconds and six third-place finishes … finished in the top-10 21 times … picked up the win in the 1,000-yard freestyle in the season opener versus Rensselaer … also was victorious in the 1,000-yard freestyle the following weekend versus SUNY Oswego … had the second-fastest time among RIT swimmers in the 500-yard freestyle in a personal-best time of 5:16.41 … posted the third-fastest time in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:24.60) … named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team for maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average.

2017-18: Enjoyed a strong season for the Tigers … won nine events and garnered 18 top-three finishes … set career-best times in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:11.05), 200-yard (2:26.83) and 400-yard (4:53.29) individual medley … had RIT’s top time in the 1,650-yard freestyle (18:12.68) at the Liberty League Championships, where she placed seventh overall.

2016-17: Competed in several short, middle, and long distance events … had one victory, in the 1,000-yard freestyle against Fredonia state, and 18 top-three finishes … was RIT’s top swimmer in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:01.48) … set new personal bests in the 200-yard (2:01.31), 500-yard (5:18.35), and 1,000-yard freestyle (11:01.48).

2015-16: Competed in several short and middle distance events … won two events (500-yard and 1,000-yard freestyle) vs. SUNY Oswego … set new personal bests in the 100-yard backstroke (1:11.33), 100-yard (59.85), 200-yard (2:05.04), 500-yard (5:19.68), 1,000-yard (11:20.70) and 1,650-yard freestyle (18:19.45) … had 13 top-10 finishes, including seven top-three places.

Before RIT: Was a four-year varsity swimmer at James Caldwell High School ... set a school record in the 500-yard freestyle (5:19.33) ... was a member of the county championship team in 2014 and 2015 ... semifinal state qualifier in 2015. 

Personal: Biotechnology & molecular biosciences major ... daughter of Julie and Michael Maykish ... has three siblings, John, Michael, and Kathryn.
