INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Three RIT divers are in action this week at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships with events continuing through Saturday.
THURSDAY HIGHLIGHTS
- Junior divers Gwen Petrie and McKenna Porter competed in the 1-Meter event, with Petrie advancing to the B Finals. Porter finished 27th in the prelims with a score of 365.3, while Petrie finished in 14th, scoring 406.10 points. In the B Finals, Petrie improved two spots to take 12th (418.60) to earn Second Team All-America honors.
WEDNESDAY HIGHLIGHTS
- In the men's 3-Meter event, Luke Albanese placed 10th in the finals, improving on his 11th-place finish (472.95) in the prelims with a score of 487.40 to earn Second Team All-American honors. The junior will compete in the 1-Meter on Friday (Mar. 20).
Albanese is set to compete in the men's 1-Meter prelims tomorrow (Mar. 20) afternoon.
All prelims start at 1 p.m., with the finals starting at 6 p.m. each day.
