ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Three RIT student-athletes were honored by the Liberty League with weekly accolades announced by the league on October 19.
 
Sophomore Griffin Tomsheck was named the Liberty League Men's Swimmer of the Week. Senior Luke Albanese was named the Diver of the Week and Arya Nimbalkar was named the Rookie of the Week.
 
Tomsheck won the 100 and 200 Breaststroke in addition to swimming the anchor legs in the winning 200 Medley and 200 Free relays to help RIT defeat Alfred, 236-62, in a home dual meet on Friday.
 
Albanese swept the diving events to help RIT earn a 236-62 win at home against Alfred on Friday. The senior scored 305.63 in the 1-meter and 331.58 in the 3-meter.
 
Nimbalkar won the 200 Backstroke while placing second in the 100 Backstroke in addition to swimming legs in the 200 Free and 200 Medley relays that both placed second in a 236-62 win over Alfred on Friday.
