ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT men's tennis team beat Daemen, 7-0 in non-conference action, Wednesday.
 
DOUBLES:

• Sophomore Yu Tanimoto and Alexander Sinclaire beat Alex Lumanog and Lasse Mergens 6-1 at first doubles.
• Junior Alec Turcotte and first year Evan Ly defeated Lucas Garcia and Mitch Pollack 6-4 at second doubles and senior Gabriel Escobar, and junior Luke Weber took down Rohan Chitanand and Riley Fitzgerald 6-1 at third doubles.

 
SINGLES:

• Tanimoto beat Lumanog 6-1, 6-3 at first singles and Turcotte was a 7-6, 6-2 winner over Garcia at second singles.
• Ly beat Mergens 6-1, 6-2 at third singles while Sinclair defeated Chitanand 6-1, 7-6 at fourth singles.
• Escobar beat Mitch Pollack 6-1, 4-6, 6-1 at fifth singles and sophomore Tyler Mitrovic defeated Fitzgerlad in straight sets.
