Women's Hockey wins 4-3 at Post

SHELTON, Conn. – RIT senior forward Kylie Aquaro tallied a goal and an assist, including the game-winner in the Tigers 4-3 win over Post in non-conference action, Saturday.
 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Rowyn Ringor scored at 14:08 of the first period to give Post a 1-0 lead.
  • RIT outshot Post 16-4 in the opening period including three from graduate student forward Nicole Ness.
  • First year forward Brac Kelley scored a power play goal at 3:02 of the second period to tie the game at 1-1.
  • Angeline Pitter scored at 6:24 of the second period to give the Eagles a 2-1 lead.
  • Sophomore forward Linda Rulle tallied a power play goal at 12:21 to tie the game at 2-2. She scored on a loose puck in front of the Post net.
  • Senior defensewoman Kyla Bear scored on a shot from the point at 18:01 of the second to give RIT a 3-2 lead.
  • Dani Ammons scored a power play goal 1:21 into the third period to tie the game at 3-3.
  • Aquaro scored a power play goal at 15:42 of the third period to give the Tigers a 4-3 lead.

  • The Tigers went 3-for-7 on the power play, while the Eagles were 1-for-4
  • First year goalie Brenna McNamara made 12 saves in net to earn her first collegiate win
