Men's Soccer beats Hobart, 2-1

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT first year forward Da'Vid Robinson scored his first collegiate goal in the 78th minute to lead the Tigers to a 2-1 win against Hobart in Friday's Liberty League opener.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • La Zai Outerbridge scored for Hobart in the fourth minute to give the Statesmen the lead.
  • Senior defender Daniel Gebura scored in the 42nd minute to tie the game at 1-1. Junior midfielder David Brassie sent in a corner kick that Gebura got a head onto, steering his shot into the far corner.
  • First year forward Idriss Diallo fired a shot that was saved by Hobart keeper, Thomas Chyzowych. The rebound came to Robinson who fired a shot into the low corner to give RIT a 2-1 lead.
 
GAME NOTES
  • RIT outshot Hobart 10-9, including five shots on net
  • Senior goalie Jason Trapp made two saves in net to earn the win for the Tigers
  • The Tigers had two corner kicks to six for the Statesmen
