ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT women's track & field competed at the U of R Spring Twilight meet, Friday.  

Highlights:

• Junior Emily DiMarco took the top spot in the discus throw with a distance of 39.87m, followed by first-year Bailee Drummond in third (37.85m)
• Sophomore Sadie Rose won the 400, clocking a time of 56.27. Junior Caroline Hill finished in third (58.46) and also placed fifth in the 200 in 25.73
• Sophomore Marinna Heichberger placed second in the shot put with a distance of 12.53m, directly followed by DiMarco in third with a 12.51m throw
• Graduate student Amelia Gilbert finished third in the 1,500 (4:46.56), followed by junior Sierra Danieu in fifth (4:48.01)
• Senior Abby Carpenter earned third-place in the javelin throw (28.45m)
• Junior Allison Regnante placed third in the 100 hurdles with a finishing time of 15.47 and also placed fourth in the long jump with a distance of 5.49m
• Sophomore Samantha Crisci finished third in the 400 hurdles (1:06.83) and junior Justine Draper earned fifth place (1:07.66)
• Graduate student Catherine Fox placed fourth in the pole vault with a height of 3.37m

 
The Tigers compete at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships next Friday (May 3) and Saturday (May 4).
