GENESEO, N.Y. – The RIT women's track & field team began their outdoor season competing at the Geneseo Early Season Invitational, Friday and Saturday.

Highlights:

• First-year Rachael Ladd finished third in the 3,000 steeplechase with a time of 12:21.41
• The relay team of junior Allison Regnante, sophomore Sadie Rose, sophomore Rania Sabri and junior Caroline Hill placed second in the 4x100 relay with an Atlantic Region Championship qualifying time of 49.20
• Sophomore Sadie Rose won the 400 with a program-record and Atlantic Region Championship qualifying time of 57.06
• Rose also won the 200 with a program-record time of 24.95
• Junior Emily DiMarco finished third in the discus throw (40.10m)
• Graduate student Catherine Fox won the pole vault with a height of 3.35m
