ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT women's track & field team finished in eighth place out of 38 teams at the 2024 Atlantic Region Indoor Championships, hosted by Nazareth.

Geneseo took the team title with 90.14 points, followed by Susquehanna (54) and Rowan (44) in the top-three. RIT finished with 30 points.

Saturday Highlights:

• Sophomore Sadie Rose won the 200 with a time of 25.09
• Junior Caroline Hill placed sixth in the 400 (58.56) and also finished eighth in the 200 (26.04)
• Graduate student Amelia Gilbert finished eighth in the mile clocking a time of 5:12.04

Friday Highlights:

• Graduate student Catherine Fox placed second in the pole vault with a height of 3.60m
• The distance medley relay team of junior Sierra Danieu, junior Caroline Hill, sophomore Abby Nautel and graduate student Amelia Gilbert finished fourth with a time of 12:25.30
• Graduate student Katie Cobos placed seventh in the 5,000, crossing the finish line at 17:59.96
