Women's Lacrosse beats Chatham, 20-2 in Puerto Rico

SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO -- RIT sophomore midfielder Morgan Nichter scored a career-high seven goals to help the Tigers to a 20-2 win over Chatham, Sunday in Puerto Rico.

Sophomore attack Adele Jones tallied two goals, two assists and won seven draw controls, while junior midfielder Lily DePalma scored three goals and added an assist. Senior attack Carrissa Hlywa finished with two goals and three assists, while first-year attack Emma Ripley scored a pair of goals.

Sophomore goalie Ellie Ruddy made two saves in net to improe to 4-1 on the season.

RIT returns to action on Saturday (March 16) against Ithaca at 1:00 p.m. in the Tigers Liberty League opener.
