WATERLOO, N.Y. – The RIT women's rowing team took part in Hobart and William Smith's Challenge on the Canal, Saturday.
Sophomore
Erin Getty gave the Tigers a win to start the day with a first-place finish in singles with a time of 23:46.9.
In the pairs, juniors
Jessica Hall and
Ellen Shepard rowed to a second-place finish with a time of 20:15.3. Seniors Jessica Olivieri and
Olivia Henry took eighth in the event (23:12.1).

Jolie Crunelle came in third place (21:34.1).

Claire Schwenke placed first in the 8+ race with a time of 17:32.1, beating out William Smith's A boat (17:36.8) by less than five seconds.
