ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The RIT women's hockey team hosts Robert Morris for two College Hockey America games this Friday and Saturday (Feb. 2-3) at the Gene Polisseni Center.

Senior Day
RI will honor seniors Lindsay Maloney, Chloe McNeil, Nicole Ness, Emma Roland, Emma Stephen and Mia Tsilemos before Saturday's game.

Recap (RIT at Mercyhurst)
RIT lost a pair of College Hockey America games at Mercyhurst, losing 4-1 Friday and 5-2 the following day.
 
First year forward Addie Alvarez scored and sophomore goalie Sophia Bellina made 22 saves in the loss. Junior defensewoman Jessie Burks and junior forward Kylie Aquaro each had an assist.
 
Aquaro and senior forward Emma Roland each scored first-period goals to give the Tigers the lead. The Lakers scored five unanswered goals to secure the win. Junior goalie Sarah Coe made 33 saves in net.

RIT enters the weekend third in the CHA allowing 2.56 goals per game and winning 48.4% of its face offs. The Tigers are fourth in the league in scoring (2.44 goals per game) and fourth killing off 65-of-85 (76.5%) of their penalties.
 
Aquaro leads the team and is tied for eighth in the CHA with 23 points. She leads the CHA with five power play goals and is tied for third in the league with 15 assists. Roland and Alvarez are tied for second on the team with 16 points apiece. Roland is tied for team-lead with eight goals, while Alvarez is second on the team with seven goals. Sophomore forward Jaidan Fahrny is fourth with 13 points (6g, 7a) and Ness is fifth with 11 points, and is tied for first on the team with eight goals.   
 
Bellina is second in the CHA with a 2.27 goals against average and leads the league with a .932 save percentage, and is sixth averaging 26.00 saves per game. Junior goalie Sarah Coe is fourth in the league with a 2.91 GAA and fifth with a .910 save percentage.
 
Sophomore forward Lexi Sung is second in the CHA winning 61.2 percent of her face-offs, while junior forward Megan McCormick is sixth in the league winning 54.1 percent of her draws.
 
First year defensewoman Emma Pickering is second in the CHA with 52 blocked shots, while senior defensewoman Mia Tsilemos is tied for tied for fifth with 46 blocks. Aquaro is tied for seventh in the CHA with a +9.

Robert Morris split a pair of CHA games at Syracuse last weekend, winning 4-3 on Friday and losing 2-1 the following day.
 
Syracuse tied the game with two third-period goals before first year defensewoman Thalia D'Elia scored 4:36 into overtime in Friday's win. First year forward Catriona Crarer and graduate student forward Courtney Hall each recorded a goal and an assist, while sophomore goalie Maggie Hatch made 40 saves in net. Hatch made 42 saves and sophomore forward Calli Arnold scored in Saturday's loss
 
Robert Morris enters this weekend fifth in the CHA averaging 2.31 goals per game and fourth, allowing 3.65 goals per contest. The Colonials are sixth in the league, converting 12-of-94 (12.8%) of their power play chances and third, killing off 93-of-121 (76.9%) penalties.
 
First year forward Alaina Giampietro leads Robert Morris in scoring with 20 points, including a team-best 11 goals. She is fifth in the CHA in goals, averaging 0.42 goals per game. First year forward Janelle Evans is second in scoring with 18 points and is tied with graduate student defensewoman Chloe Puddifant for first on the team with 13 assists. Graduate student forward Shailynn Snow is third on the team with 15 points (9g, 6a) and Puddifant and senior forward Mya Neugent are tied for fourth with 14 points apiece.
 
Junior forward Madison Primeau is seventh in the CHA, winning 53.9 percent of her face offs, while Crarer is fifth in the league with 241 face off wins. Graduate student defensewoman Allyson Herbert is third in the league with 41 blocked shots, graduate student defensewoman Wasyn Rice is fourth with 47 and Puddifant is seventh with 42.
 
Hatch has seven wins this season and is fifth in the league with a 2.98 goals against average, third with a .925 save percentage, averaging 34.05 saves per game.
 
RIT vs. Robert Morris
Robert Morris is 29-12-3 all time against RIT. The two teams split a pair of games in Moon Township, PA Nov. 17-18. The Tigers won game one 7-3, while the Colonials came back to win 3-2 the following day.
 
Senior forward Emma Roland recorded a career-best five points on two goals and three assists in game on, while senior forward Lindsay Maloney recorded a career-high with three assists. Sophomore goalie Sophia Bellina made 32 saves.
 
Jersey Phillips scored the game-winner 16:48 into the third period in Saturday's win. Senior forward Nicole Ness and first year forward Addie Alvarez each scored for the Tigers, while junior goalie Sarah Coe made 30 saves.
