Men’s Soccer ties St. John Fisher, 1-1

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT senior forward Joshua Price scored in the Tigers 1-1 draw against St. John Fisher, Saturday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Price scored in the 21st minute to give the Tigers the lead. His free-kick was blocked, but he slotted in the rebound into the corner for his team-best fifth goal of the season
  • Fisher's Greg Ranieri tied the game on his goal in the 39th minute, tapping home a loose ball inside RIT's penalty area.
  • Joe Avallone fired a shot wide in the 53rd minute, and Parker Horchkiss fired his penalty shot wide in the 70th minute.
  • Price had a chance in the 83rd minute, but Fisher keeper, Jadon Schlierf made the diving stop to preserve the tie.
 
GAME NOTES
  • RIT outshot St. John Fisher, 15-7, including six shots on target.
  • Junior goalie Jason Trapp made three saves in net.
  • RIT fired nine corner kicks to one for the Cardinals.
