ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT sophomore
Joel Pho won the deciding singles match to lead the Tigers to a 5-4 win over Ithaca, Saturday.
Pho won the first set against Jimin Woo, 6-1. Woo came back to win the second set 6-2, but Pho won the deciding set, 6-3.
The first doubles team of sophomores
Grahith Movva and
Christian Berko were 8-6 winners over Eric Dubilirer and Siddharth Vaada.
Pho and graduate student Brenna Bull defeated Woo and Jacob Wachs, 8-7 at second doubles.
Berko won his second singles match over Vaada in straight sets, while first year
Brian Bork was a 6-1, 6-3 winner over Wachs at fourth singles.
Sophomore
Max Change picked up a three-set win at sixth singles.
RIT returns to action on Sunday (Feb. 26) against Skidmore at 3:00 p.m.
